     The Toyotomi Samurai Katana ceremonial katana boasts a hand forged 7mm wide, 1060 high carbon steel blade with bo-hi (groove). Elegant design with a powerful blade which demands respect. The tsuka is wrapped in silk and the lacquered saya is painted with gold foiled of the floral symbol of the Toyotomi clan.

     Now available to match the ever so popular Practical Katana (SH1070) is the new Practical Wakizashi (SH2061), which offers the same quality at a great price. These high carbon steel blades are forged and differentially tempered, producing an HRC-60 edge and HRC-40 back. The temper line is authentic and prominent.

     Cost savings are effected by using fittings which, while making no claims to traditions in Japanese sword making, but each sword is very strongly built to withstand the rigors of cutting exercises and practice.
